As Operating Partner, Steffen oversees the daily activities of the firm with a focus on investment identification, execution, and asset management.
Before starting Cartage Capital Partners, Steffen was a Co-Founder of DryPort Capital, a company specialized in the acquisitions and development of industrial service facilities for trucking and logistics. Prior to that, Steffen was the Director of Finance and Risk Management at SOFEC, Inc. – a specialized offshore engineering and construction firm – and was responsible for project due diligence, corporate finance, and risk management for a global business with projects around the world.
Steffen has been active in real estate since 2012 and has invested in SFR’s, condominiums, multi-family properties, and since late 2020, has been firmly focused on low-coverage industrial properties for industrial outdoor storage.
